The Sno-Jet Phantom Jet was developed as a next-generation chassis for the 1976 model year, intended to launch a whole family of high-performance machines. Engineers designed it as a platform that could easily move Sno-Jet into liquid-cooled engines and serious competition use. Only two Phantom Jets were ever built, making it one of the most elusive and talked-about Sno-Jet prototypes in vintage snowmobile history.
